PAT Testing

Electricity can kill and commonly injures people. On average around 1000 electrical accidents are reported to the HSE each year with around 30 deaths being attributed to electrical injuries.

Essex Energy Services currently undertake PAT Testing responsibilities for a wide range of customers including schools and colleges, electronics, distribution and manufacturing, care homes, doctors surgeries and dental clinics, hotels, restaurants, public houses and nightclubs, offices, churches, sports centres and health clubs, garages and engineering workshops, domestic let properties as well as many others.

Our team of fully trained testers can deal with inventories of any size ranging from just a few in let domestic properties to many thousands in commercial manufacturing premises, offices and schools.

All of our testing is supported by fully itemised reports that are available in both digital and printed formats. All tested items are given a numbered label and any fuses and plugs requiring replacement are done so at no additional charge unless otherwise agreed at the time of quotation. Any items failing any part of the testing and inspection procedure will be brought to the immediate attention of the customer.

Whilst testing we can also provide additional services such as cable tidying and the testing of all plug sockets for correct polarity.We also provide free advice in respect of any Health & Safety issues observed at the time of testing.

Quotations are provided without obligation usually following a site visit arranged at a time convenient to the customer. Testing is also carried out at the customers covenience with no additional costs levied for weekend or out of hours testing.
